Lisa & David’s Wedding Day

All week the forecast was calling for snow on Saturday, March 28 — but I was not worried.  This is Kansas afterall, the state of snow one day, sun the next.  But the days continued to pass, and many inches of snow remained on the forecast!  After the purchase of a pair of gollashes and legwarmers for the bridesmaids, I made my way to the church in the rain.  It did not take long for the rain to turn into huge fluffy snowflakes, creating a beautiful Winter scene for that last weekend of March.

I owe this couple a lot — they were absolutely amazing to work with.  They were so happy to be getting married, that a little snow did not trouble them at all.  Lisa let me take her outside, and after just a few minutes she literally had a half-inch accumulation on her dress!  We used all sorts of areas inside the church (including the kitchen), and captured some unique images from a day they will never forget.  Thank you Lisa and Dave for your great attitudue and amazing spirit.  Enjoy the slideshow set to their first dance, and images below!

I love the old-vintage-style/film-like processing on the next two images…

I would also like to thank Neal and Eric of LemonLime for attending this wedding with me — great fun guys!
