In Kansas I never check the weather more than a day or two before weddings I shoot — because it is almost NEVER accurate. When I saw the forecast for over 50 degrees at the first of January, I laughed — but I wasn’t laughing when I woke up on the morning of Kristy and John’s wedding. Instead, I was jumping for joy because it really WAS over 50 degrees!
I drove out to Lee’s Summit and met the girls at the church where they were relaxing and getting ready. These two agreed to have a First Moment in the sanctuary, which is AWESOME since John had a great expression on his face when he saw his beautiful bride. I took the wedding party outside and around the church, and then it was time to hide for the ceremony. It was a musical masterpiece (since she teaches at Avila) with singers, a hand-bell chorus, and an amazing piano player. Enough of my typing…on to some images! BLOG SHOW TOO!
Did I mention that lots of the kids were EXCELLENT break dancers?? Check that OUT!
