Right after Christmas on December 29th, I brought all of my flash equipment to Union Station to document the wedding of Erica & Eric. It was a beautiful day with amazing people, many who had traveled very far to see these two commit their lives to one another. They are from West Virginia, so much of our communication was over e-mail. But I felt like one of the girls the moment I arrived at the salon, and the entire day. Especially at the reception when Erica made certain that my assistant Jenni and I were fed dinner — we cannot tell you how much that was appreciated! They did not want to see one another before the ceremony, so that meant no natural light for their images together.
