I can definitely tell that the holidays are coming! Between Christmas cards and prints as gifts, the office is overflowing with packages to mail out today!
I cannot begin to explain all of the things that I have been doing this week, but I will certainly try. Tuesday was the evening of family portraits for the less fortunate at the organization called reStart — and wow what an amazing organization it is! They do work for single parents, young teens, programs for children, and even have an emergency shelter for those that need a meal, shower and bed for the night. I had the most incredible experience meeting these families, and the people at reStart — and felt honored to give family portraits since many of them had never had one before. While I cannot post pictures from these sessions out of respect for the families, I will post another fun fireplace picture because I just LOVE them — and to remind everyone to be thankful for the little things in life! 🙂 And thank you to Andy of Interwoven Threads, as he was able to put this whole thing together, AND he was able to donate 41 t-shirts to the organization! If you are one of the people that bought a shirt after my post last week, leave a comment!! Here is a cool article also written about Andy’s company!
