One-year-olds are one of my favorite ages to photograph — they are starting to walk, talk, and explore, and it is entertainment just to watch them! Patrick is the nephew of Amy, who I worked with last year to capture Ty and Ethan (not to mention, attended dance AND high school together). She is a wonderful Aunt (who doesn’t spoil him at all 
), and she was ready with all sorts of fun things for Patrick to have fun with at the park! The session was GOING to be a surprise for her sister, but after a rainstorm delayed our first shoot she had to let the cat out the bag. Patrick wasn’t too sure about me, but after a little time he was having fun and digging into some yummy cake!
