the R Family | Summer 2017

When I walked up to this family at the park, some of Wendy’s first words were “We aren’t looking for perfection, we just want the photos to look like US…” I should’ve hugged her right then and there.  Because showing a family just how beautiful they are is exactly what I love to do…not through the perfect pose (although we did manage to grab one of those too) but through capturing how they are together.  How they look at one another, interact, and just BE.  It was so much fun for ME, and I think the boys had some fun too… 🙂  Just when I thought it couldn’t be any better, a park ranger came out with a monarch butterfly for us to help release!
