Photo sessions with little ones are so much fun — I make animal-noises, we play chase, and share lots of laughs all while capturing some great images! When I was looking through some wedding blogs, I saw that a lot of them were doing styled/concept-sessions, and I had the idea that this could be applied to my kiddo-shoots. How much MORE fun would this be for the everyone involved!!
I phoned my friends (who happen to be the parents of 2.5 year old Isabel), and told them about my idea. They were thrilled to help, and I got to work putting together a little “set” with all sorts of things that were carnival-like! Balloons, bubbles, pinwheels, a cape (yes I sew a little), little fish — and Mom came through with adorable outfits that were perfect. So when it comes to a family/kid-shoot — perhaps this will inspire some ideas that you want to create for YOUR family!
WOW! I LOVE the first one with the bubbles and balloons and the fourth one with the streamers and pinwheels. What a great idea!!!
Seriously cute. As always you did a great job capturing her personality Rebecca! We had so much fun and loved your ideas.
These are wonderful. What pretty hair and smile.
Do you travel to take pictures Rebecca? To Michigan?
