I photographed this family back when Merit was just a little baby — see the session here! It was great to see them again, when we met at the park Yesterday (is that a shoot-to-blog record?!) at 7:30 AM. When Merit first jumped out of the car, I believe Mom and Dad told me “She hasn’t had her ‘coffee’ this morning…” aka, she wasn’t in the best of moods. But leave it to a little GUM to make all the different in the world! Once she found out I had a piece of gum just waiting for her, I got a few smiles… :) Grant was celebrating his birthday, and really wanted a picture in his new Batman mask. How cool is that? It turned out to be one of my fave shots from the whole session!
