Paighton | Newborn Session

I always look forward to newborn sessions — but this one was extra special.  I had been waiting for the phone call that would mean a session was in the works — and it arrived.  Sarah is a wonderful person, friend, and former co-worker of mine — and I could not be more happy for her and Ryan that they have welcomed a baby girl into their lives.  Let’s just say there is a LOT of pink going on in this house!  Paighton started the session wide-eyed, wondering who I was and watching my every move.  Once she realized I was kinda boring, she decided to go to sleep…and I decided she would be a perfect subject for my vintage suitcase!!  It was so much fun — and she is a member of the Baby’s First Year too!  Cannot wait — see you soon — and SLIDESHOW!

Now I had to include an image of their first baby…Belle Dog.  I have been photographing Sarah and Ryan since I was using FILM…so that means early 2004 (possibly late 2003).  How is THAT for a record!?  She is such a sweetie…love Belle!
