the last day of Photogirls 2008

Brace yourself for a long post here…we did so many things on the last day of the Photogirl retreat, that I had to share a lot of images!  The morning started up with a little sleeping in, but Brooke invited us to her beach home for the day!  So we threw on some clothes, packed some gear in the Shootsac and started our last day of adventure.

The amazing thing about Brooke’s house is that you actually must drive ON THE BEACH to get to it!  If there is a full-moon (high tide) or strong NE wind, you physically cannot get there.  We had a car-full of girls, and Brooke’s two dogs Biskers and Wheezy.  About half way down the beach, the dogs were ready to run so we let them out and they had a blast chasing the car partway to the house.  That is Wheezy in the front and Biskers is back there a bit…pardon the image quality, since I was crammed in the very back of the vehicle and shooting through a dirty window!

Brooke’s house was SO beautiful and vibrant just like she is — I think she could have a few roomates here since we all LOVED every element of the space!

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better — we went for a walk and spotted some wild horses!

I think they are used to people — look how close Adrienne could be!

There will be more stuff coming — but the hubby is making sure I take time to watch a movie with him tonight! 🙂
Thank you Brooke for letting us peek into your world for a day — it was magnificent!
