Kaianne & Drew | November 17, 2007

Last Saturday was the wedding of Kaianne and Drew — and the day couldn’t have been more perfect.  It was warm outside, and these two knew they wanted to see one another before the ceremony to make sure they got the BEST pictures!  So we met at Union Station for their first see, and for some great wedding party pictures.  The day went without a hitch, and I love so many of the images that this is a LOOONG post!  And of course, here is the SLIDESHOW

Her face, seeing her wedding gift from Drew…

And his face seeing his beautiful bride for the first time — LOVE that expresssion!

They even had Union Station decorated for the Holidays!

The guys gave the camera some attitude…

…but so did the girls!

We wanted to go to the JC Nichols Fountain, but alas it was turned off — so we just went to a different part of the Plaza to get some of the fall leaves that were still around!

Love the rings!

I have to tell the story of what happened right before this image.  Drew asked how to open the champagne bottle, and I told him that the wire-cage on the top comes off, and THEN you have to work the cork out of the top.  So he proceeded to remove the wire cage with the bottle on the table, when all of the sudden the cork popped out and hit him directly between the eyes!  I could not believe it!  After some laughing, and replays on the videographers’ camera, we proceeded knowing he was ok…good thing it went right into his forehead and not an eye!!

And trying some more off-camera lighting — for photogs out there I had a Pocket Wizard on my camera, triggering a Cannon speedlight that was placed on a balcony above the dance floor!

Hope you two are having a great time on your honeymoon — and thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
