So this past week and a half not only have I been busy with the business stuff, but it was my BIRTHDAY so there were all kinds of fun things going on! I thought that I would post a quick highlight reel, because it would be too much to do a post about everything!! 🙂
First up was the Chiefs game against the Saints — while they didn’t play their best I did get to see Tony G. out there (yes, I own a life-size cutout of the guy) and hang with the parents for an evening!
Next up was a birthday celebration with some of my good friends from a previous job. One of them made my actual wedding cake, so when she placed a white box in my lap I went CRAZY! My own birthday cake, that tastes like wedding cake!!!
On the actual DAY of my birthday, my friends organized a trip to the Royals game. It was t-shirt Tuesday so that sweetened the deal for sure. It was a great night, and Caiden received a certificate for his first Royals game!
And last but not least, I got to enjoy lunch, pedicures, and some wine with a new great friend AND fellow photographer Adrienne Maples. It is just wonderful to talk business with someone who understands it as much as you do — and to bounce ideas off one another!
Ok — so I am off to shoot a wedding today, and then I am out of town for some much-needed R&R until Wednesday! And there isn’t much internet access at the lake, so I will return calls/e-mails when I return — have a great holiday weekend everyone!
